Aviano releases drinking water report

AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- The 31st Aerospace Medicine Squadron Bioenvironmental Engineering flight recently announced the publication of the 2013 Drinking Water Consumer Confidence Report.

The annual report is designed to inform the public about the water Aviano Air Base delivers to base personnel every day. Presented in this report is information on the source of the water, the water sampling frequency and the sampling results.

In addition to standards outlined by the Environmental Protection Agency, Aviano also adheres to regulations prescribed by Italian Final Governing Standards.

"Aviano carefully safeguards its water supplies and once again is proud to report that our system maintained excellent drinking water quality standards during the year," said Staff Sgt. Kevin Norton, 31st AMDS/BEE.
