AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Lt. Gen. (Dr.) Thomas Travis, Surgeon General of the Air Force, held an all call for 31st Medical Group Airmen, March 7, 2014, at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Travis advises the Secretary of the Air Force, Air Force Chief of Staff and the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs on medical matters pertaining to the air expeditionary force and health of Airmen. At the all call, Travis answered questions about budget restraints, improving healthcare and force management concerns.
