AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Mission Spotlights are a weekly photo slideshow highlighting the mission of a unit. This week's Mission Spotlight focuses on the 31st Operations Support Squadron airfield management.The airfield management section conducts daily inspections of the flightline, maintains preliminary flight planning documents and work with Italian air force and other agencies, such as air traffic control, civil engineers, aircraft maintenance, fire department and command post to coordinate support for flying operations.
