Aviano hosts 2016 HQ AIRCOM Swimming Championship

AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- U.S. Air Forces in Europe Airmen competed in the 2016 Headquarters Allied Air Command Inter-Nation Swimming Championship, May 11-13, 2016, in Maniago, Italy. Aviano Air Base hosted USAFE Airmen and AIRCOM counterparts from Poland, U.K., Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. The Inter-Nation Sports Championships, which also consists of basketball, cross country running, volleyball, orienteering and soccer, reinforce the mutual respect and goodwill that exists between the allied nations.
