AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- The 31st Security Forces Squadron kicked off National Police Week May 16, 2016, at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Police week honors military and civilian law enforcement officers who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The week-long event began with a proclamation wreath laying ceremony, several demonstrations and fundraising activities.
