Aviano participates in Aviation Detachment 16-3

AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 31st Fighter Wing are partnering with U.S. Air National Guardsmen from the 138th Fighter Wing and 239th Combat Communications Squadron, the Polish air force and other NATO and allied nations for Aviation Detachment 16-3 in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve at Lask, Poland, from June 1-18, 2016. While there, the 510th Fighter Squadron will also support exercises Baltic Operations 2016, Saber Strike 2016 and Anakonda 2106, to enhance interoperability and demonstrate each country’s shared commitment to a peaceful, stable and secure Europe.
