56th RQS conducts mountain training at Aviano

AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Airmen assigned to the 748th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and 56th Rescue Squadron, Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, conducted training operations July 13, 2016, at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Two HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters and their crew members spent the week conducting mountain familiarization training. The 56th and 57th Rescue Squadrons relocate from RAF Lakenheath to Aviano in fiscal year 2017 as part of a series of moves within the European Theatre.
