U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft and Airmen assigned to the 510th Fighter Squadron, 31st Fighter Wing, Aviano Air Base, Italy, are participating in the bilateral training exercise, Agile Buzzard, with the Italian air force at Decimomannu Air Base, Sardinia, Italy. During the exercise, U.S. air forces will train to enhance our ability rapidly deploy to and operate from locations with varying levels of capacity and support, ensuring Airmen and aircrews are postured to provide lethal combat power across the spectrum of military operations. These bilateral training exercises and deployments enhance partner interoperability, maintain joint readiness, and assure U.S. regional allies.
