With reference to the reports on the national and international media regarding the US military personnel stationed at Aviano AB, the 31st Fighter Wing Command ensures, in compliance with the protocols indicated by the Italian Health authorities, there are currently zero positive COVID-19 cases and no suspicious cases.
The precautionary measures of self-isolation of the aforementioned military personnel have been ordered by the US Command to ensure maximum prevention of further contact with others, protecting other Aviano AB personnel and the local community, while continuing to ensure military readiness.
In merito a quanto descritto dagli organi di stampa nazionali ed internazionali sui militari Statunitensi di stanza ad Aviano, il Comando del 31st Fighter Wing assicura che, nel rispetto dei protocolli indicati dalle Autorità sanitarie italiane, attualmente non vi sono casi di positività al COVID-19 e nessun caso sospetto.
Le misure precauzionali di autoisolamento del citato personale militare sono state disposte dal Comando Statunitense per assicurare la massima attenzione ad ogni tipo di ulteriore contatto a tutela anche della comunità locale.
