Air Force Aid Society General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant
Provides $2,000 grants to eligible dependents and stateside spouses pursuing their first undergraduate degree. Use of funds is limited to tuition, books, fees or other curriculum-required materials. Air Force Excellence Scholarship

Air Force Sergeants Association (Enlisted) Scholarship
The Air Force Sergeants Association offers one $100 scholarship to an active-duty military member per term. This scholarship is available to:
-- Active-duty Air Force and Army members between the ranks of E-1 to E-6 (Other military branches should contact the program coordinator)
-- Based at Aviano AB and its geographically separated units

American Patriot Freedom Scholarship Award
Military dependent children may apply for $1,000 scholarships to be awarded every May for post-secondary education occurring within the next twelve months. Information concerning the scholarship application and the application form may be obtained at http://www.homefrontamerica.org.

Aviano 5/6 Association Enlisted Family Scholarship Program

The program offers four $150 scholarships each school term to enlisted active-duty members, E-6 and below, and their authorized family members. Applicants must be enrolled in a college course during the scholarship award period, complete a scholarship submission form and provide a written essay. Aviano Community Enlisted Spouses' Club
The club offers two $500 scholarships per term to cover book and tuition costs. This scholarship is available to:
-- Active-duty spouses and dependents of Air Force and Army members (Other military branches should contact the program coordinator)
-- Department of Defense civilian spouses and dependents
-- Based at Aviano AB and its geographically separated units.

Aviano Chiefs' Group Scholarship
Offers five $100 scholarships to cover book costs. This scholarship is available to:
-- Enlisted Active Duty members between the ranks of E-1 through E-6 (Any service)

Aviano Officer's and Civilian Spouse's Club

Scholarships range from $200 to $500 based on the number of applicants to cover book and tuition costs. This scholarship is available to:
-- Active-duty spouses and dependents of Air Force and Army members (Other military branches contact the POC)
-- Department of Defense civilian spouses and dependents
-- Based at Aviano AB and its geographically separated units.

Aviano Top Three Association
Offers five $100 scholarships to cover book or tuition costs. This scholarship is available to:
-- Active-duty Air Force and Army members between the ranks of E-1 through E-6 (Other military branches contact POC)

-- Based at Aviano or its geographically separated units

Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund Scholarships
The program has awarded more than $7 million in college scholarships exclusively to civilian federal and postal employees and their family members since 1987. Awards range from $500 to $2,500. For more information, visit www.feea.org/scholarships.html.

Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation

The foundation awards scholarships through nationwide competition for individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership potential, plan to pursue careers in government, the non-profit or advocacy sectors, education or in public service, and wish to attend graduate school to help prepare for their careers. Horatio Alger Scholarship
The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans provides scholarship awards of over $20,000 to high school seniors who are U.S. citizens attending or planning to attend a U.S. college. Students living on military facilities overseas are also eligible. Applicants must show a critical financial need, have a strong resume of extracurricular activities and maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average. Jodi Callahan Memorial Scholarship
The Jodi Callahan Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance and recognition to an active-duty, full-time Guard or Reserve Airman who is pursuing a master's degree in a non-technical field. For more information, visit the website at http://www.afa.org/aef/aid/callahan.asp.

Lt. Col. Romeo and Josephine Bass Ferretti Scholarship
This scholarship is made possible by a bequest from the estate of Lt. Col. Romeo and Josephine Bass Ferretti and was established for minor dependents of Air Force active duty, Reserve or Guard enlisted Airmen pursuing an undergraduate degree in the area of science, technology, engineering or math. The National Military Family Association Joanne Holbrook Patton Military Spouse Scholarship Program

Scholarship for Military Children
Operated by the Defense Commissary Agency, offers one $1,500 scholarship at every commissary location where qualified applications are received. The scholarship covers tuition, books, lab fees and room and board. For information on applying and deadlines, visit www.militaryscholar.org.

Scholarships available for chaplaincy students
Air Force officials offer scholarships for individuals who want to become service chaplains. The religious professional scholarship program is designed to help fill manning shortfalls within the chaplaincy for underrepresented faiths within the Air Force. The program is available to any commissioned officer or anyone currently enrolled in a commissioning program. For more information about the program, send a request to chaplains@rs.af.mil. 

Spouse Scholarships

The Air Force Spouse Scholarship program is designed to encourage Air Force spouses worldwide to pursue an associate, bachelor's, graduate or postgraduate degree. For more information, visit  http://www.afa.org/aef/aid/spouse.asp.

STAP (Spouse's Tuition Assistance Program)
Offers up to half of the cost of one class not to exceed $300. This program is available for all active-duty spouses enrolling in military contracted college programs. ThanksUSA
Scholarships are for dependent children and spouses who are pursuing their first undergraduate two or four-year degree. Awards range from $1,000 to a maximum of $5,000. For more information, deadlines and eligibility, visit www.thanksusa.org.
