General information

Flight Information Availability
Due to Force Protection and security concerns, limited flight information can be given over the phone. Flight information can be obtained from the  community/commanders access channels, Flight Information Display System (FIDS) monitors located throughout the Passenger Terminal and Billetings main lobby or in person at the passenger terminal.

Information available for the following time frames:

Beyond 72 hours: General flight information, (Weekly flights to Baltimore IAP, Ramstein AB, Germany).

Up to 24 to 72 hours: Number of scheduled arrival/departures from particular stations, dates and seat availablity.

Within 24 hours: Date, station arriving from, destinations, show times and seat availability.

BAGGAGE:
- Passengers are authorized 2 bags per person.
- Not to exceed 70 pounds per bag.
- 62 linear inches
- Anything larger will be counted as two pieces of baggage.

Exceptions:
- A-3, B-4, duffle, sea bags
- One Piece up to 80 linear inches as long as the bags do not exceed 100 pounds.
- Applies also to garment bags, golf clubs
- Only one of these bags per person will be allowed

Note 1: Baggage limitations on C-21 and C-12 aircraft is 30 pounds (hand carried/checked combined).

Note 2: Baggage limitations for most commercial airlines is 50 pounds.

Excess Baggage is only authorized in PCs Status. Requirements are as follows:

- Have it stated on your orders
- Number of pieces authorized
- Subject to the above restrictions

If not stated on orders you must pay for the bag or dispose of it.

Note: Excess Baggage not authorized for Space available travel.

PET INFORMATION:
Individuals traveling in PCS Status can have their pet fly with them. Pets are normally booked through TMO. All pets will be loaded in the baggage
compartment of the aircraft except for those pets booked by TMO as in-cabin. Contact TMO for in-cabin pet requirements. The following weights and
charges apply to pet movement:

1. Up to 70 pounds= $110
2. over 71 pounds-140 pounds= $220
3. 141-150 pounds= $330

Kennels Requirements:
- Must be kennels approved by IAIA or USDA. Collapsible os soft sided kennels will be accepted for carry-on as long as they are within these dimensions: 20" long x 16" wide x 8" High 
- Must have adequate ventilation
- Pet must be able to stand up and turn around.
- Lie down with normal ease 

TERMINAL OPERATING HOURS:
Monday-Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: Closed

LEAVE:
- Active duty military may sign up for Space Available travel on their first day of chargeable leave.
- If their leave expires, they can remain on the list if they are trying to have their leave extend. Leave extension maybe be accepted based on
verbal confirmation from the passenger, but can't be moved until leave has been extended. During extenuating circumstances the Passenger Service
Officer, Commander or NCOIC may decide to move the military passenger.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Question: What documentation is needed to fly?
Answer:
- Active duty military:
- Traveling to the U.S. must have a valid ID card and leave orders
- Accompanying dependents must have a valid dependent ID card, passports and Soggiornos or receipt of application for Soggiorno to return to Italy
- Children 10 years of age must have a dependent ID card to travel Space Available

- Command Sponsored Dependents:
- Dependants traveling by themselves must have a military dependant ID Card, passport, Command Sponsorship letter signed by the sponsors
commander or acting commander and Soggiornos or receipt of application for Soggiorno to return to Italy

Question: Can my dependent child fly Space Available?
Answer: Yes, dependent children 18 years or older can travel Space Available and must have a military dependant ID Card, passport, Command Sponsorship letter
signed by the sponsors commander or acting commander, Soggiornos or receipt of application for Soggiorno to return to Italy. Dependents under the age of 17 cannot fly Space Available by themselves and must be accompied by their sponsor.

Question: Can dependents children travel Space Required without their military sponsor?
Answer: Yes, children between 12-17 years will be allowed to travel by themselves if flying space Required. They must have an AMC Form 1004 stating that arrangements have been made for a responsible adult to take custody of the dependent child at the terminating location.

Note: Parents traveling in a space-available status intending to accompany his/her child who is traveling in a duty status is not authorized. Parents traveling in a duty status intending to accompany his/her child who is traveling in a space-available status is not authorized.

Question: When and where can I sign up for Space Available travel?
Answer: When: 
- Active duty military may sign up for Space Available travel on their first day of chargeable leave
- Dependents can sign up for Space Available travel with a command sponsorship letter, ID card and passport
- Dependents of deployed members can sign up for Space Available travel using a Dependent Deployment Upgrade letter 10 days prior to the sponsors deployment

Passenger Amenites
1. Adependant lounge located in the terminal
        a. It has a tv, crib, and various toys/activities
2. Vending machines
3. ATM Located in the front of the terminal. However, it only dispenses Euro
4. Phones located inside of the terminal that are both commerical and DSN.

Soggiornos
If the Govermnent of Italy is slow or delayed in issuing a soggiorno, you can fly if you provide the Installians the original official Receipt
for their Soggiorno application. 

Animals

May only travel when their owner is PCS status.

Baggage
- One person may have two check-in bags, one carry on, and one personnel bag
- Car seats do not count as excess bag. 
Note: Space-available travelers are not authorized excess baggage

Bus schedule
We have a base shuttle. It runs hourly  and arrives at the terminal at 38 min. after the hour, except for the 0800-1000 & 1300-1400

How to sign up.
Active Duty Military
1. When you are on leave.
2. Bring your Leave form and ID Card to the terminal
3. Go to the Information Window and they will help you from their.

What you sign up for
1. You do not sign up for a specific flight, you are just put in the system, showing that you want to get on a flight.

Liquids
1. Unlimited amount in your check-in bag
2. 3.4oz or less in a quart-size zip lock bag in your carry on
3. Has to say on the bottle or container 3.4oz or less, to keep it in your carry-on

Cost of flights
1. For flights heading to the United States of America there will be a charge of $29.10 per person
2. For flights that are heading to a destination other then the United States there will be no charge

Long term Parking
1. Long term parking is only to be used by Passenger select for a flight originiating through AMC
2. Get a long-term parking slip, Fill it out then give it to the passenger agent at the Information window.

DV Lounge
1.For GS-15 or 0-6 and above
