U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 31st Medical Group ‘treat’ a K-9 simulator for simulated wounds during a joint ‘trauma care under fire’ training at the 31st MDG, April 12, 2022. The K-9 simulator includes features such as an airway with adjustable breathing, panting, intubation (insertion of tube into airway for oxygen/anesthesia), IV and tourniquet training, barking, whimpering, growling and more.
