AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy -- Vacationers can leave the long bus rides behind and take to the skies with Information, Tickets & Travel's new flight trips to far-flung destinations.

The new trips, scheduled from June through December, will take passengers to tourist hotspots in Sweden, Spain, Ireland, Sicily, China and more.

"We wanted to be creative and offer new tours to our customers," said Sergio Gingillino, ITT manager. "A lot of people don't like to ride the bus on long trips and now we've made it easy to just hop on a plane and get there in only a couple of hours."

While the quick flights make it easier and more comfortable to get to destinations, Gingillino encourages customers to prepare in advance.

"The deadline for flight trips is two months prior to the trip," he said. "This allows us to secure a better price for the customer when working out flight arrangements. So prepare early for a trip of a lifetime."

Individuals worried about the safety of certain locations can rest easy. All ITT tours are coordinated with the base anti-terrorism office to ensure the locations are safe during the travel time.

In addition, ITT provides a generous refund policy in case of emergencies or last minute cancellations.

"We try and help the customer as much as we can and at a minimum will give them a credit to use towards a future trip," said Gingillino.

The office also provides a frequent traveler card. For every 10 trips, travelers receive a $25 discount card for future trips.

When traveling with ITT, passports are recommended for all trips, but are specifically required when flying anywhere or traveling to non-European Union countries such as Croatia. Gingillino recommends verifying all required documentation before departing on a trip.
