Airmen can improve Air Force through IDEAs

Aviano Air Base, Italy -- Airmen with insight on how to increase productivity or work efficiency can use their ideas to improve their workplace and earn extra money through the Innovative Development through Employee Awareness program.

The IDEA program rewards Airmen for ideas that save Air Force money and resources.
Someone who has an idea that isn't within their job responsibility but saves the Air Force money, will receive 15 percent of the Air Force's estimated first-year savings. That reward could range from $200 to $10,000.

Someone who has an idea within their job responsibility that saves the Air Force a minimum of $20,000 can receive three percent of the estimated first-year savings. That reward could range from $600 to $10,000.
Ideas don't have to save the Air Force large sums of money; most approved ideas have small savings that can't be calculated. Small ideas are eligible for awards up to $200.
People who have an unclassified idea may submit it at https://ipds.mont.disa.mil/.
