173rd Airborne Brigade conducts sustained airborne training

U.S. Army 173rd Airborne Brigade paratroopers executed airborne operations at Aviano Air Base in Italy. Paratroopers regularly participate in jumps to ensure all operational training requirements are maintained year round. The 173rd Airborne Brigade from Vicenza, Italy, is the Army Contingency Response Force in Europe. They are capable of projecting forces to conduct a full range of military operations across the United States European, Central and Africa Command areas of responsibility.
